VANCOUVER — Wesgroup Properties has officially launched 1 Market Square, which is the first tower in its Inlet District master-planned community in Port Moody.
The 27-storey tower features 299 homes, a new grocery store and day care.
Located near the Inlet Centre SkyTrain Station, 1 Market Square is part of the first of four
phases that will be built at Inlet District. This phase will also see a second residential tower built as well as a four-storey office building, a release reads.
The first phase also includes The Well, which is a 27,000-square-foot central amenity space with a gym, yoga studio, swimming pools, sports courts and a synthetic ice rink as well as a co-working space, music bar with vinyl library, adults’ and kids’ lounges and a movie room.
Residents at 1 Market Square will be able to access two levels of in-building amenities, including a rooftop lounge, outdoor cooking area, games room, off-leash dog play area and private guest suites.
The development will feature a mix of studio, one-, two- and three-bedroom homes ranging in size from 445 to 1,340 square feet.
Four more towers and three low-rise buildings are planned for the other phases at Inlet District as is a second day care centre and a 2.5-acre park. In total, Inlet District will add 2,587 new homes to Port Moody, the release states.
1 Market Square is expected to be complete by mid-2029.
